Questions people ask

Do I need a boating licence?

Not on a skippered charter, where the crew handles the boat. To take a boat out yourself in Spain you need a recognized licence for its size, except on small licence-free boats, so a skippered charter is the simpler choice.

What does the price include?

It varies by boat. Ask what the quote covers: the skipper and crew, fuel, food and drinks, and marina fees can each be included or charged on top.

What happens if the weather turns?

The skipper decides whether it is safe to go out. Before you book, ask us what happens to your payment if a trip is cancelled for the weather.

Who owns the boats?

Licensed charter companies own and crew the boats. The Amberline team arranges your day and is your point of contact from booking to the marina.
